. What are the Most Frequently Asked Questions

This page contains the most frequently asked questions about the construction of solar power plants. We tried to answer customers questions as much as possible.

If you plan to install a solar power plant and issue a “Green tariff”, then we recommend considering the option of the maximum capacity allowed by law. Today, the maximum allowed power of a solar power plant per inverter is 30 kW (there are no legal restrictions on the power and number of photo modules).

If the main task of the solar power plant is to compensate for own consumption and save electricity, then in order to determine the required capacity of the solar power plant, it is necessary to know the annual (monthly) electricity consumption and the daily electricity consumption schedule of the facility where the installation of the solar power plant is planned.

1 kW of solar power plant requires about 5.0 m2 of pitched roof area (depends on PEM model and roof configuration). The area of the plot for ground-based solar power plants depends on the relief, orientation with respect to the light sides and geometric dimensions of the plot, but on average no more than 400 m2 is enough for 30 kW.

Solar photovoltaic modules must be installed taking into account their optimal and efficient performance throughout the year. For solar power plants under the “Green tariff, it can be any buildings and structures within the home ownership (roofs and facades of the house, farm buildings, fences, ground structures for mounting photo modules, etc.).

The maximum permitted capacity of a solar power plant for the sale of solar energy under the “Green tariff for private households with an inverter is 30 kW (there are no legal restrictions on the capacity and number of photo modules). During the construction of the SPP and the registration of the green tariff for legal entities, the maximum capacity of the solar power plant is unlimited.

For private individuals, payments for solar energy under the “Green Tariff” for the settlement period (calendar month) are credited to the household owner’s bank card. A bank account (card) can be opened at any convenient homeowner’s bank. Before crediting funds under the green tariff, they are withheld from personal income tax in the form of 18% and 1.5% military levy.
